Can I pay for this course with my NSW Creative Kids Voucher?
Yes! Create NSW supported the production of this online course. The NSW Government is helping school-aged kids (4.5 to 18 years old) to get involved in creative and cultural activities. NSW Parents, guardians and carers can claim a $100 voucher per eligible child, per year and redeem this voucher for this on-demand, teacher supported Media Arts course. How long does my child have to complete this course?
After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for a minimum of 12 months across any and all devices you own.
I have more than one child. Do I need to register them separately?
We ask parents / caregivers to please register each child separately with their own Creative Kids voucher (online payment also accepted) to allow us to provide individualised support for your child as they make their way through this course.
How long will this course take my child to complete?
There is approximately 2hrs of on-demand lessons in this screen art (film making) course and a range of 'filming challenges' for students to participate in along the way. Students can complete the course over the course of one full weekend or over several weeks depending on their age, ability and time.
What are the course outcomes?
By the end of this course (and associated filming challenges which can all be done at home) your child should be able to comfortably script, film and edit a story using video, images, music and voice over.
